Tryouts for Sunday, 03/06/2011, have been canceled due to weather conditions. There are no scheduled make-up tryouts. However, coaches may hold individual tryouts as needed at a later date.

Field Advisory for Saturday’s Training at Oakmont

The weather forecast looks good for the upcoming Pre-Select Training this Saturday at Oakmont High School. Please check back at this site on Saturday morning for the latest update on field condition and any last-minute information updates.

The session times are:  U10  9:00 – 11:00;  U12 11:30 – 1:30; U14 and up  2:00 – 4:00

Field Advisory Dec 4-5 District Cup

Fields are playable for Saturday morning. Rain expected again Saturday afternoon/evening. If we get rain beyond light intermittent showers the fields may not be playable Sunday. This decision will be left up to the individual convenor’s and field referees if no further update is posted to this blog.
Roseville Park’s rain line is 746-1257 and should also be checked for Sunday field conditions.

EYSC Field Advisory Nov 19-20

Currently we are experiencing passing showers which will turn into steady rain overnight (Fri). Forecast is for approx  3/4″ of rain. The fields should drain but additional rain is expected Sat.

         The timing of this second wave of rain will determine whether fields are playable.

        As always if there is standing water on the fields or if there is rain beyond passing showers games should not be played.

       Additionally the forecast calls for thunderstorms,  if any active lightning occurs  games should be abandoned.

       Please be safe.

Field Advisory 10/29

Rain  overnight is forecast to be light and intermittent. If it rains heavily overnight or is actively raining during games beyond light sprinkles, then games will be cancelled. Fields are still wet from last Sundays storm and will not drain quickly. Please use your best judgement in determining field playability. The only update to this message  on 10/30 will be if the fields are officially closed.

10/26 – Fields Update

All Eureka fields are now open for practices. However, many fields will still have wet soft spots — particularly in the goal areas. Please avoid these wet soft spots and try to avoid concentrated activity in any one area of the field. In other words, move your drills around on the field as much as you can.  Have a great practice!
